THE TRYOUT

First i tryed the rifle with HN Barracuda .25 31,14 Grain ammunition, works Ok but I also had some of the JSB Exact King .25 , compared to the HN Barracuda who has been arround a while Exact King is brand new, it only took about 10 shoots for me to see that the Exact King worked much better.

Exact King wights 25,4 Grains.



I´ve tried quite a lot of .25 ammunition before and came to the conclusion that HN FieldtargetTroophy and HN barracuda was working OK, all other types worked worser so i wont try out thoose old types now.

The hatsan AT44 was adjusted to give about 261 metres per second ( 856 feet per second ) with the 25,4 grain Exact King and this is what i got a quite calm day with some weak side wind comming in intervals.
The scope is one MTC Taipan 6-24x56IR , Low price and one of the better chinese made lowbudget scopes right now.


The distance was 50 metres ( 55 Yards )and i shot 4 shots on each targetboard, totaly i shot about 200 shots with Exact King this day but, theese results are representative for what is easily achieved with the LotharWalther .25 polygonical rifling barrel.

Im quite pleased with the LotharWalther barrel, It shoot just fine with the JSB and I can recomend it to everyone that wants to get a new .25 barrel for their PCP, My next project will be exchanging my old LW barrel on my FX Typhoon with this newer type of barrel.



And remember ! DO collect the led You shoot when possible to do so, the led is poisonus for our environment and even if You own the land where You shoot, the led will spread with the groundwater / subsoilwater.
